I am 32 years old and have been a fairly hardcore gamer since about the age of 13. I have never played on a PC..well solitare and Yahoo games but nothing like a real game. I have been console all the way..Not out of preference it's just what I started with. I play mostly online shooters but I like quest games for single player..Fable, Zelda and similar.
I have noticed that alot of people on this board are PC gamers and are quite vocal about how it is better. My question is...Am I missing alot by playing on consoles? Do the PC versions of games have more content?.. I have seen people talking about being able to Mod the PC games but don't really know what they are talking about.. I imagine Mod means modify but how? and is modding a form of cheating? How is the cheating with PCs? it seems like it would be easier for hackers to make cheats for online PC games as opposed to a console games.

As for modding, it might be cheating or it might be a whole new game

Team Fortress also started as a Quake mod, which led to TFC and TF2, inspired Borderlands, etc. *NM*

Aside from mods, keyboard+mouse will always be more precise than dual analog for FPS *NM*

I have a hard time believing this...It just seems that the dual analog would be so much better. *NM*

Would you rather drive a car with two sticks or a wheel? A mouse also doesn't resist your touch. *NM*
