After beating CoD 6, and having a blast on multiplayer, I looked for a new game to play. After the success of Left for Dead, I was confident that Valve and Steam will continue to release patches, maps, etc. for Left for Dead. Little did I know Left for Dead 2 came out. After buying this game and beating the level in the Shopping Mall.... HOLY CRAP! Is this game good. It takes every element that made Left for Dead 1 good and just added new things such as the arch storyline, and melee weapons. I still haven't beat the game yet because I am still experimenting with the new gameplay such as Scavenger and Realism. I play the campaign on the hardest level, but after playing realism...it makes the hardest version of Campaign seem like a walk through the park with the care bears.
The only thing I have against this game is that it isn't as scary as the first because most levels start out in the day so you can see everything unlike the first game which was in darkness. Another thing is that I miss all the old characters. The news ones aren't bad, but I miss Zoey and Louis and stuff.
All in all, This is a fantastic game.
