All the above mentioned cards are rare, and pretty pricey to get your hands on.
You don't want to know how many cards I have. I think I have four or five Energy Fields and I certainly have a few extra Balances that aren't in my deck. Wrath of God isn't that expensive, is it? I certainly have plenty of those. I put Kird Apes into my red/green decks and I have the Maze of Ith in two different decks because I have two copies. I think I have four Demonic Tutors and two Sinkholes (mostly in decks right now, of course). I even had a foil Serra Avatar but traded it for some hideously powerful old cards because I don't care about foil cards. I still have three or four Serra Avatars, though.I know there are various ways to shut down my favourite deck, but there are ways to shut down every deck, which is one of the great things about Magic. There is no such thing as a perfect deck, which keeps the game interesting.
Yes. Of course, my white Angel deck does pretty well against most decks. My blue/white Millstone deck crushes nearly everything. My favourite mono decks are green, not because they're powerful or anything, but because it's fun to bash your opponent over the head with some 13/13s every now and then
They are fun, but green is too easy to shut down, in my opinion. Some of the newer cards have been making it MUCH better, but green tends to be slow to start.
Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.

It's a cheap creature. I'd kill it as soon as it came out or counter it. *NM*

That sounds like a good deck. I might have to try something similar.
