I'm 25, and fortunately my amount of dispensable income has outgrown my four hobbies (my rec B-Ball league, Pathfinder RPG, Star Wars Miniatures, Video Games.)
I've played D&D since I was about 16, but never got into Magic mostly because the only people I knew who played smelled like old goat cheese. Then I downloaded the XBox Live version of MtG, and their well-placed marketing ploy worked, so I bought a deck.
How much trouble am I in for?
(My gf loves all this stuff by the way, and by love I mean she wishes I wasn't such a nerd)

I don't like alpha cards because I like using clear deck protectors.
