As much as I love STARCRAFT and might even be tempted into trying out DIABLO 3, I think Blizzard have been trading on past glories for too long. It's been twelve years since they last created a new series, and when you consider that their most famous two franchises (WARCRAFT and STARCRAFT) are basically rip-offs (if excellently-made ones) from Games Workshop, they are in severe danger of stagnation.

We know that Blizzard are working on another MMORPG and whilst I've got a horrible feeling it's going to be STARCRAFT UNIVERSE or something, it would be great if it was a whole new world, a whole new style of gameplay and some real cutting-edge originality.
