I'm going to go with
Uncharted & Uncharted 2. You don't *really* need to play the first one before the second one...although there are a few characters which transition over, however it couldn't hurt since the first game is out of control awsome.
The second one, which I'm playing through right now, I would easily put in my Top 5 *all time*. Its not so much a game anymore, as a interactive movie experience. There is a story & plot lines and all that....and it nicely goes from gaming to cinematics and back all without messing up the continuity of the experience. Last night...without even realizing it...I played for 3 hours.
I would *highly* advise you to get these games.
