Some of these are also PC games, so if you have it for PC and/or Xbox 360, don't bother

Little Big Planet
Edler Scrolls IV: Oblivion (Game of the Year Edition)
Fallout 3 (Game of the Year Edition, if it is out yet)
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
God of War 3 (due out soon)
Demon's Souls
Killzone 2
Resistance: Fall of Man
Resistance 2

I would recommend Borderlands, but not for PS3 (see my review from a couple of days ago for what it is like...completely addicitng)




I'll also add in Brutal Legend, and The Orange Box (which contains Half Life 2, its two "expansions," Portal (which is amazing) and Team Fortress 2 (similarly amazing).

The Orange Box is actually better on the PC, because Valve does updates and such, and TF2 in particular has a bunch of extra content, but if you can't get it on PC for whatever reason, it's still good on PS3.
