Ya I picked 2014 b/c its then ten year anniversary of WoW.
In terms of allocating development- resources might be somewhat scarce. I read that they suspended SC2 development for an entire year in 2005 to work on WoW. Ive also read that they want to release a major title only once per year- that includes XPACS

In the past they were not as big, and they did need to make some sacrifices in terms of allocating resources. The Starcraft 2 team has gotten changed around several times, for instance. Blizzard has grown since then, and at this point they have the four full teams that I listed, at least.
As for the major title once a year, including expansions - I'm not familiar with that. If it were true, that would mean that it would be five years before we saw all of the announced games released. That's not including any extra Wow expansions, or the Diablo 3 expansion. And that is simply unrealistic - every single currently announced project will easily be finished before 5 years is up, and Blizzard has no compelling reason to limit themselves to one major title a year, when they have the development resources to do more.

I don't want to put words in anyone's mouth, but I suspect there might have been some exaggeration.
