There's all sorts of ways to get around that. Most of them magic, true, but that's no big deal. It can be shrunk, it can be levitated, it can be teleported, it can be carved into smaller chunks that are carried off, it can be cracked like an egg to access it's core. There are tons of possibilities.
I'm thinking right now that since they didn't do anything with the corpses near the stone that they're gonna come back as wights or something more powerful and start attacking the nearby town.
The party is only level 3 and doesn't have a cleric so rampaging undead should be pretty tough for them.
Forum posts should be like a skirt. Long enough to cover the topic but short enough to keep your attention.
