Metal Gear Solid 4.
Good game. I've enjoyed the Metal Gear series going back to the NES. At one point MGS4 has you return to Shadow Moses from the original MGS on the PS1. When they show you how the game looked back then I realized how much the graphics have improved over 2 console generations. Wow, I don't remember it looking that bad. The story is as incomprehensible as ever, but it matters not. If you're a fan of the series then you are used to that by now.
I used to play every game on the hardest level but now that I'm older with work, a family, and less time to play, I go with normal, or even a setting between easy and normal if there is such a setting. Part of the reason for that is the pile of games I've played but never finished. I can count on one hand the games I've beaten over the past few years:
Zelda: Skyward Sword
Mass Effect
Uncharted 3
Portal 2
and MSG4
I've started well over twice that number before growing bored, or just deciding to move on to another game. Most of them were really good games but for one reason or another I just put them down. Maybe I'll go back to them some day, but it's unlikely. I have a stack of unplayed games for every system of this generation, not to mention games I still own for my Gamecube and PS2 that I mean to play some day...most will probably never be played.
Anyone else have this problem?
