I am perfectly happy gaming on my PC. I'd like a console, but I can get by just fine without one as well. I certainly wouldn't touch the Xbox One with a ten foot pole, no matter what they do at this point, simply because they've been so anti-consumer and so stupid for so long that I've lost all respect and interest in them. No, it's a PS4 or nothing for me.

But before I am accused of being a fanboy (although thankfully this forum isn't like what typical gaming forums devolve into), in this case it isn't that I love Sony more, but simply hate it less. As I said, I'd be just fine without a console anyway, and I am not going to purchase a PS4 earlier than Black Friday 2014, so I'll simply wait and see how it shapes up then. And if by that time Microsoft has also done away with their mandatory Kinect policy and generally shaped up, perhaps I'll give the Xbox One a moment's consideration too.
