I'm not saying you shouldn't have it, I'm just curious what your reasoning is. Since it's the only instant you put in, in looks like you did it very deliberately- is it a combo or something?
Basically stall in case of things going very badly. If things aren't going badly, it's expensive damage, but in that case I can take the mana cost. It doesn't really have any special reason, I just like it's utility. It also sets off Sanguine Bond and/or Exquisite Blood if I haven't managed that otherwise.
