Figured I should beat it before playing 3...
I'm about half of the way through the game, and I'm getting the same feeling that I did with Brotherhood- I don't care about the Renaissance anymore- I want to know about modern times. It's cool seeing Ezio as a badass middle-aged man, but I really want to see what's happening with Desmond and Abstergo.

This was the most frustrating point for me ... I loved that they added the leveling mechanics and larger group of assassins, bombs etc, but they didn't quite make it worth hanging out inside the animus as much once the plot was done - I wanted more and different historical periods, not a re-hashing of the same age in history. You'll dig 3 though when you finally get to it ...
