1.Hmm. Play with friends. Sounds like a wild concept but I'll try it out. Seriously, I've only got a few that are on steam. Only onge bought it due to my nagging. Most of my gamer friends bought it for console thinking that fps are definitely made for consoles. Meh. Not for me.
2.Problem is, I'm not sure what gun I want. Higher DPS and green arrows are the pure basis of my trying a gun out on an actual enemy. Come to think of it, I'm using a gun with a fire element on it, I'd only replace it with another gun with an elemental effect with a higher dps.
3.I do hope they develop more gamestyles. I've managed to get a character of each class to Sanctuary (that was a grind). Hope to expand the re-playability of this game through this. I'm concerned about re-playing story quests though.
4.Good point. Lazy analysis on my part.
5.Okay.Will try that.
6.I just use the sentry gun on them. I'm just lazy.
7.imo, Looting Systems in games like borderlands, Diablo, etc. will eventually run into an endgame crisis. If the game features the looting as its primary showcase, there will come a time (given the tenacity of hardcore players to spend countless hours of gametime) where the loot/gear is no longer proportional to the challenge. The problem I think is the fact that during the entire game, the lust for greater loot is very much the focus. After the final boss, what is supposed to happen to that insatiable gun lust?
I think endgames are not required, but it is how gaming evolved. It might not be the right direction but it is what we have right now. Some players just want to keep investing time in a particular game instead of playing a quick side-scroller or a puzzle game. Devs get the short end in struggling to create endgame content.
Don't get me wrong, I'd like to know a different kind of experience but trying out games like Mario, God of War, the appeal ends after the first hour. Strategy games have better hooks into me, but finding a substitute or better alternative for enduring loot games is still the gaming holy grail methinks. What do you think?

I've been very curious about the first one (and this) since you mentioned it a while ago

Ironically, that part interested me. Also, friends don't let friends play Borderlands alone! *NM*

The PC version is superb, too! Lots of settings, no complaints here. Thoughts on gameplay inside.

The review was already lengthy and I wanted to leave a bit of surprise. *NM*

I didn't mean it as a criticism. More like a supplement or follow-up with opinions.
