As someone else who's been watching the project for its entire gestation, it's lovely to see it out.

Unfortunately, I haven't played it yet. It's my own fault, really. To avoid ending up with another half-finished game in my Steam library, I've sworn to not play Black Mesa until I finish Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Besides, DE:HR is really good.
I'm more than ready to play this game, though, and it's hard to believe that it's finally been released. Well... most of it, anyway. We'll have to see what they do with Xen.
Honestly, I haven't replayed the original HL in at least ten years, so this is going to be a fresh experience. I would've done it sooner, but my hope was that BM would release before I gave in. Sweet, sweet validation...

The sword might be grateful to the forge fire, but never fond of it.

Started playing BM earlier this week. My only real complaint is how they gimped the jump height.

You can fix the jump height.

Have they made any comments as to whether that low value is intentional?
