So now that E3 has disappointed us all...what single game are you looking forward to the most?

For me it is a hard decision. Halo 4 looks great and the story seems to be going in a really cool direction...but...
There is XCOM: Enemy Unknown coming in October. I love the original X-Com: UFO Defense and am a little glad that the 1st person shooter by 2k Marin got pushed back (to 2014 this time). I cant see an FPS XCom game...
But Enemy Unknown looks like a good thing. From everything I read and saw, it looks like the developer is trying to take care and not screw it up.
The premise, for those who haven't heard it, is pretty simple. Aliens are invading. XCOM is a secret organization and the only line of defense. Your mission is to learn about the Aliens and stop them from invading.
It is going to be a turned base tactical game, like the first one. And, like the original, you will be able to control how the Base is going to be developed. I haven't heard if you can have multiple bases yet. Also, it hasn't been discussed how you shoot down the UFO's. In the original, it was a short black and white cutscene of F16's in battle. They either took the UFO down or blew up in a blaze of glory.
At that point, an XCOM squad is sent into to secure the wreckage and kill or capture any aliens and devices for study. You then research technology and manufacture new equipment. All the while, trying to protect that various governments who supply your funding. Aliens would infiltrate governments and reduce your funding.
It was a lot of fun and the first one was based heavily on general UFO lore. The different aliens were based on the most common types (like Sectoids...Paul if you have seen that movie). You could routinely find cows that were inside out and other things that were common in UFOlogy.
I realize nostalgia is driving my desire, but I really hope it turns out to be good.

Castle: This is so weird. I dressed up as him for Halloween.
Beckett: Me too.
