Developers can "stand up" to their massive employers and give them a rousing speech about what true integrity and quality games are. You are seriously soft in the head.
So I didn't have the same issues with patching, various drivers, glitches that PC users had. From that standpoint, New Vegas was much more broken with glitches than Fallout 3.
As for Obsidian, true, their development time was cut short by LucasArts. But they didn't have the backbone to stand up for themselves and say, "Do you want a bad/mediocre game released with the Lucasarts' name attached to it?" And with New Vegas we found out why. Even with a full development period, they will only get about 80%-85% there.
It's a shame because a lot of the people at Obsidian come from other companies and were responsible for games that I never had a problem with.
