I'm still only level 21, but that's because my mage doesn't use a lot of skills. A friend who's played about the same amount is well into the level 30s as a melee character.
I've completed the main quest (epic!) and the Companions quest line. I've joined the mages and the thieves but haven't done anything with them yet. I haven't encountered the Dark Brotherhood. I'm a handful of quests into the civil war line, and I have lots of other quest lines to do as well. I've collected about 150 of the game's books so far and purchased two houses. I've killed about 15 dragons. The main storyline battle at the top of the world was incredible. Even though it was just a variation on fights you've done before, it was so cool.
I still can't believe how massive the game is, nor how enormous and interesting most of the dungeons are. Has anyone else been to Blackreach? It's part of the main storyline. Even on top of the big dwemer ruin you descend through to enter Blackreach, that place is ridiculous. One huge cavern, so large you can't see the other side from where you start. I think I've seen entire video games smaller than that one dungeon.
Has anyone else seen the meteor streak across the sky at night? It didn't appear to crash anywhere, but it was cool.
The Mind of Madness quest in Solitude was pretty neat. I'm slowly discovering some of the daedric gods and doing things with them, which is great.
A quest you get in Solitude sends you to a cave where you unexpectedly have to stop a bunch of necromancers from summoning a long-lost evil back into the world. That was a cool dungeon.
I made a dog friend. He follows me around and fights with me. But he's a barky fellow, so I've started leaving him at my home. Sometimes I'll come home and he'll have knocked some stuff over.
I still have so much to do. I'll be passing 100 hours and will just keep on going.

This. The dungeons are great compared to the abysmal monotony of Oblivion. *NM*

Do you all recommend doing the main quest straightaway? A bit at a time?
