I don't know about Skyrim, but Morrowind probably isn't your cup of tea either then. It's just a more varied and rewarding dungeon crawl, with lots of potential for character customization and tweaking. But unless you're into exploring a large and varied world in search of cool stuff that might be lying in some forgotten ancient tomb, you probably wouldn't enjoy it.
