Haha I've heard this alone can suck up all your time.




Cool stuff, each game is better than the last. My advice is do NOT get hung up on all the "sidequests" in AC1. They give you almost no benefit, take up time, and are very repetitive. AC2 and AC:Brotherhood are much better about that kind of thing.

I do think you'll probably get burnt out on AC-gameplay before you beat all three in a row, though. No shame!

I got about... two thirds of the way through before getting distracted and playing other stuff. It's pretty cool. It needs some polish, IMO. I would LOVE to see a remake of it, with today's graphics and game design techniques, to be honest.



All of those together will take FOREVER! A Noble endeavour, though, I wish you luck!

Man, I haven't played BG1 in forever. I remember dying a lot more, simply because everyone's a bit more fragile, and you don't have tons of high-level spells. Xan is still such a great character, though.



Red Dead was fun. Other people rave about it, I put it firmly in the "above average" category, and that's it.

The Mass Effect games are also a lot of fun. Combat in ME2 is definitely a bit slicker and streamlined, as is the entire game. Some people think it's slightly TOO streamlined, and I can see their point, but I still liked the game a lot.


I haven't played Skyrim, yet. I want to wait until I have a better PC... we'll see if I can resist.
