My goodness, and here was me thinking I was playing insane amounts of NWN.

I have a lot of recs, that I will list for you in a few hours when I'm at work I don't have time to look them up right now though. But I have LOTS Check back!
LOTS is the word. Wow. Only two or three that I've even heard of, notably the Wyvern Crown one of course - don't you have to pay for that one?
*goes to download a few of these* The funny thing is I still haven't finished any of the three original storylines - player-made modules have a way of being more densely packed, with more action and fewer boring fights. In the main storyline I'm near the end, in the two expansions not even close.
As you can see, I've played a lot of NWN content...it's my favorite thing about the game and why I will always support it, despite the game's flaws. In fact, writing out this list has made me want to reinstall and play again!! XD
Yeah, definitely. NWN has some downsides compared to BGII - though I guess the party-based system just wasn't feasible in NWN's graphics engine, you can't micromanage six characters that way - but the premium modules make it great. Particularly those that manage to incorporate much-missed BGII functions like the world map (as Daggerford does - left me with a disinclination to do much running across locations in other modules).
Man...now that I have finally finished, I feel like that "modules that are awesome on NWN" could be its own thread XD
Totally, but I don't know how many people play them.
If you could create just one game.

Bethesda actually considered the license. They chose to make Skyrim instead. *NM*

I will say, the books are almost universally read amongst game designers, and it's a hot license.
