I only started playing because the boyfriend would be playing instead of chatting, and it was easier to join than fight the game/guild. Not to mention that I didn't want him to stop playing...I just wanted to chat! :p
I really prefer RPGs above everything. I like the stories, the characters, and the abilities to shape both while I shape my own character.
Regardless, despite the loss of convenience, I feel better having a hard copy to store, at least. That way, I know I can still play at least some games without internet or anything like that running. *shrug* It's just what I prefer. I don't see why everyone keeps trying to convince me otherwise.
