lost your original copy, it's just that old a game... LadyLorraine Send a noteboard - 05/08/2011 05:27:09 AM
for example, I'm relatively certain my dad's old Descent disks would run poorly on my computer. Whereas, I'm relatively certain that a "now" download would run much better. Also, CDs get scratched over time. I've bought multiple new hard copies of the Baldur's Gate series for the latter two reasons (I'm not the one who scratches the CDs. My brothers have atrocious CD habits and luckily I haven't had a single scratched CD since I moved out!)

Not to mention there's the perfectly good chance that you never owned the game, but played it when it belonged to someone else.

What is the value of an old game? - 03/08/2011 04:41:26 PM 657 Views
Depending on the game, $5-10 is perfect for me - 03/08/2011 05:46:43 PM 534 Views

Varies wildly on the game. 2D ages much better than 3D. - 03/08/2011 10:38:13 PM 513 Views
I would basically agree with this. *NM* - 04/08/2011 03:06:30 AM 212 Views
I agree on 5-10, depending - 04/08/2011 05:22:36 PM 507 Views
But how much of that is based on availability? - 04/08/2011 08:25:27 PM 507 Views
yes, but I still don't think you'll see prices come up high - 04/08/2011 11:40:14 PM 498 Views
