actually I have no idea as to the quality of their desktops. I'm just in love with their laptops, which have yet to fail me <3


I'm glad you've had good results. Most quality studies that I've seen (especially the big SquareTrade survey done a couple years back) put HP at (or near) the bottom of the pack. The difference between first and last place is only about a 10% failure rate, though, which goes along with what I was saying: the major manufacturers of pre-built systems all have ROUGHLY the same quality, prices and policies.
