Only because less than halfway through the game (I believe it was less than halfway through it) I got bored of it, and started running around slaughtering guards. And considering I, a lowly assassin, was able to defeat entire platoons of guards (at one point there were about twenty of them marching in two columns, and I slaughtered all of them), that makes Altair quite badass... Bourne never took on that many people at once.
