I loved it to a point Sir Tybalt Send a noteboard - 14/03/2011 03:54:03 PM
When I first started playing Chrono Cross, I loved it because of the music, the gameplay, the story, and especially the main characters.

I enjoyed the color system during fights and thought it was unique and fun.
The story had enough mystery to keep me wanting to know what was going on and what had happened and what was going to happen.
There were a ton of characters, but the main ones kept the story moving and interesting.

Then, came the ole switcheroo. Without giving the story away, I felt like the game had pulled a bag over my head, struck me with a 2x4, and forced me to do something I had been fighting against the entire game up until that point! (Hopefully this is cryptic enough to not give anything away.) You will know what I'm talking about as soon as it happens, about midway through the game, I think.

Anyway, after the 'event', I tried to continue playing the game under the new circumstances, but I just didn't have the heart for it. So I never returned to it.

The end.

Sadness.

That happened to me with Star Ocean 3 and it's momentum-killing plot-twist. *NM* - 14/03/2011 08:03:35 PM 228 Views
The entire plot was like a bad sci-fi novel... - 15/03/2011 04:48:24 AM 484 Views
Pretty much the best music ever - 14/03/2011 11:41:33 PM 454 Views

Time's Scar is probably the best opening track ever - 15/03/2011 11:31:25 PM 570 Views
Best track ever, you mean. I had it as my alarm clock for two years. - 16/03/2011 05:41:28 AM 438 Views
Yep. This is why you pick a good song that is not your favorite. - 16/03/2011 06:13:36 AM 445 Views
Nah, the best alarm clock song is the prelude to Sweeny Todd - 16/03/2011 04:21:31 PM 492 Views
Great music, but the plot was a bit meh, and too many characters hurt it, I think - 15/03/2011 07:16:47 PM 428 Views
I think I'll start playing it again. - 15/03/2011 11:42:29 PM 475 Views
