should I even consider playing X-2? I've heard it kinda sucks, any opinions?


It certainly wasn't my favorite, but I've played far worse games. It has a fairly high cheese factor, but you can get past that if you just take the game how it is. Sure, it would be nice for it to be different in some respects. But wishing that it was different/better will just bring you anxiety. Play it for the smooth battle system, and the enjoyment of going to familure places.

Its a nice diversion...waiting for better games.

It was localized pretty well, as I recall, but it's that same kind of attitude. Very campy, elaborate outfits (hell, outfits are the basis of the class system), very "Go Team Yuna Woooo!" (Their team name is Y-R-P I believe)
I amuse myself.
