^That. I am excited, but feel trepidation.

I really liked DA:O (so much that I'm playing it a second time at the moment, actually, whenever I have the time) and I don't want them to ruin it. So far none of what they've announced is ruining it, though I'm not completely certain how I feel about the new more active battle system.
However, I am extremely worried about the size of the game install on the PC, and what it might mean for the length of the game.
And no less importantly, looking at the screenshots and the gameplay videos for it, it all seems half finished somehow. Like DA:O was a more fleshed out product, while this still looks more like a beta version than the actual finished game. I'm not graphics obsessed, mind you! Quite the opposite, I'd much rather have a good game with bad graphics than the opposite. But I'm too much of a cynic to believe that a developer actually decided to go the good game but bad graphics route, when all too often it's the opposite.

Eerrrrh. I want to be, but it seems so rushed. I don't want another ME2.

Gameplay of ME2 + Story and character depth of ME1 = Best game ever.

I'll give you story... but most of the characters in ME1 were terrible.

It was great at the time, but the interface has aged so terribly that I can't touch it anymore. *NM*

I never really got into the first Dragon Age, so that would be a no.
