It looks like Sony is finally making something worthwhile, but we'll have to see if the cost will make it marketable or not. (or if they shoot themselves in the foot again with proprietary formats)
I'm no expert on handheld gaming, at least not since the original Gameboy, so these are purely my opinions.

I feel the same way about being too old for a handheld. Hardly any of my friends even own a home console let alone handhelds. I would, however, buy the playstation phone (I like Sony erickson phones and have one right now).
