I really enjoyed 9. I bought 10, but got distracted and never finished Wily's Castle.

The inclusion of stage mini-bosses was a neat idea, though. It borrows elements from the X series without losing the original series' flavor.
The sword might be grateful to the forge fire, but never fond of it.
