That was a great game! I'm rather disappointed the city builder series fell off after that. Poseidon was an OK sequel, but I really liked Zeus a lot more.
Hmm. I never played Poseidon. There was a demo for an Egyptian version on the Zeus disc I had, but I never managed to get properly into it.
Poseidon is the expansion. It adds new units and resources, and is based on the Atlantis myth. I think one of the resources let you make Atlantean fire (which is better than normal weapons). There is also a hippodrome that you can build to get more money, but can be a real pain to organize in your city. See wiki for more (linked). Also youtube.
Poseidon looks nice. I like that they have included Hera.
It's pretty good - definitely worth looking into if you've liked Zeus. It might be a bit difficult finding a copy of the game, though (at a reasonable price). I bought one off ebay about 6 years ago and I was looking for one for like 2 or 3 weeks before it showed up. As far as I know, I still have it... somewhere, though.
Pharaoh was a less polished (and earlier) version of the game, with several issues. Zeus was just inappropriate, though. The graphics were semi-cartoonish, but they were still nice. Some of the quests and stuff were fun, although it would have been more fun if you actually got to experience them.

Anyway, as for gaming on the iPad... there is potential there, just give it some time.
Yes. Time. They still haven't made a version that works on a mac: I have to work on Windows 98 in Parallels (which is NOT an easy thing to set up) in order to play it at all. But I love this game.
