I've never had a gnome before, but I figured now was the time. Playing in Dun Morogh makes it feel like a truly new expansion for the 1-60 experience. The quest flow is miles better, there are lots of new quests and rewards, and the inclusion of Gnomeragan has physically changed the topography of the zone. It's been a lot of fun so far. I'll be headed into the new Loch Modan today. I haven't even checked out the changes to other zones yet (except the first seven night elf levels on a new mage, and those flow better too but are less altered than Dun Morogh). Rather than zipping about on one of my 80s to see all the new things in the world, I'm trying to visit them as part of a natural levelling progression.

I've always loved playing alts, so this is all right up my alley. I'm really enjoying it. But eventually I'll get to Outland and say "God, not this again!" At least it's easy to power through Outland and Northrend now.

I really can't say enough about the improved quest flow. Previously the old world would send you a long distance for a single quest, which you then had to return before you could get another quest that sent you way the hell back out to where you just were. You'd have a dozen quests dumped on you in some places and would have to work out the logistics of how best to go out and do them with the minimum of hoofing it back and forth across the zone. Now, from what little I've seen, they seem to be clustering the quests better and giving you a focused progression rather than a quest dump. It feels smooth and natural. I like it.
