If they sold a single-player only version for half price, sure. Otherwise, no way.

I've never really enjoyed CoD multi-player anyway. The sp has always been my favorite part. Plus, I don't buy $60 PC games. I'd wait for a sale, but Activision is too full of itself to discount their titles. I suppose there's hope for it on Steam, but not very likely. The most they'd knock off on there is ten bucks, but probably not for another 3 months.
Plus, despite Treyarch squashing rumors, there's still heavy speculation about an eventual subscription plan for "premium" Activision content. It would suck for players, but would also make Activision lots of money... which means it's pretty likely. Console gamers are used to fees for online content, but non-MMO PC gamers aren't. I think it will further alienate the series from the PC market if it goes that way, because we've got plenty of "freer" shooters to play online.

The sword might be grateful to the forge fire, but never fond of it.

Very few vehicles in MP (like 2) and a much better balance of perks!

Indeed. I won't touch COD multiplayer with a 10-foot pole. Good SP, but too short to pay full for. *NM*
