awakening was good, too easy but good Foxhead Send a noteboard - 12/09/2010 08:42:49 PM
i imported my rogue from awakening (the mage was from DA) and did the boss on hard...it was so hard even still, i can't imagine doing it on nighmare

I absolutely loved the expansion pack, almost more than the game itself. The new map, increased levels, new abilities, new classes of armor, weapons, usables, it was just all awesome.

I wish they would have made another expansion before the sequel... something with a new base of operations and a new map. Awakenings was short enough that they didn't even have to add another increase in levels and item classes, there was still plenty of room to grow. I would have paid whatever for it.

Anyways, back to the newest DLC:

It was fun, and I imported my level 30 Rogue/Shadow/Assassin/Duelist. I immediately re-specd the dwarf NPC to be ranged, since my character was pretty good at dealing melee damage. I got it Sunday and am still working on beating the boss, good lord, he is tough.

There wasn't anything terribly remarkable about it, other than a few really tough battles with golems and a the switch system that had to be used to get through some of the doors. It was a good time, nonetheless.

I guess we only get one more DLC, and it sounds more like a Leilana's Song (lame!) than an Awakenings. I'll probably still buy it, though.
