What about just leaving a browser running at System Requirements Lab? It shows minimum and recommended requirements, and, while it's aim is to tell you if the current computer could run the game, you could just ignore that and look at the specs. Here are some screenshots to show you what it looks like, if you haven't used it before:

Anyway, this seems like a very easy way to do what you want. Customer says, "What do I need to buy in order to run game x?" You type in game x, and have everything you need to know about minimum and recommended requirements right there, without having to search for requirements, check benchmark charts, etc. The one downside to this plan is that System Requirements Lab doesn't always (ever?) have games that haven't been released yet. For the majority of times though, I'd think you'd be fine.
