I am a collector.....of stuff. Comics, books, games.
I play 95% of my games on consoles, but besides that fact I just like to physically own a thing.
I have games on disc I may never play...but I want to play them, I would like to play them sometime, and the point is they're there when that time comes. I can look over and actually see them, peruse my catalog, and pop one in the console.
My mom thinks I have OCD and should be on that show Hoarders just because I keep boxes for stuff. She threw out my PS3 box, so now I have to use a clear plastic box that it doesn't properly fit in if I want to take it somewhere ' />

For consoles, I definitely prefer discs. I can take it to a friend's house, not fill up my harddrive

I never said gamers don't prefer discs. I just said it's not the plastic that they like.
