Just wondering what kind of sports games people tend to play.
Being from the UK, I'm a big fan of football (soccer) games, but recently picked up Fight Night Round 3 and enjoyed it immensely. Tiger Woods is also a favourite, as are many racing games (if you can class those as sports).
I really think there is a gap in the market though for an all encompassing tennis game. One that has more than 8-16 of the top players, that has all players in the top 500, has a full tour schedule, with a 10-15 year career option. It seems to be pretty much the only major sport that hasn't had this done to it. Interesting that EA have left tennis alone. Anyone have any ideas why this hasn't been done yet? Is the cost of doing this too great perhaps? Personally, I'd love to see it. I think the greatest challenge with tennis games though is getting the gameplay right, as they often become very repetitive pretty quickly.
