Some idiot boss in FFXII took literally hours of grinding to kill, and be was about 30 min away from a waypoint. I started playing Morrowind around then and never looked back (although in a spate of "fuck you Ahriman I did eventually beat the thing). Why should I play a game that requires endless amounts of leveling when I can play one that rewards ingenuity?

Addendum: I love them in action games, though.


See, I actually enjoy endless amounts of levelling.
