Note that you're only covered if you live in the UK, and if the trip begins and ends in the UK and lasts no longer than 31 days. However, spouses and domestic partners are automatically covered along with the policy-holder if you live together. So make sure you tell them Tor still lives with you in Edinburgh – if you can't avoid showing that he flew to Italy from Norway, pretend he went to Norway first by ferry last week, or something .
