Leave it to the "King" to try and say something modest, yet find himself unable to do so. I mean, give him credit for trying to say "it's all about the team" but does he REALLY have to say "I could win the scoring title every year if I really tired"? If he's so confident, why does he need to say it? Does he really think he's that much better than Kobe and Durant? Because I have news for LeBron, he's not. Kobe easily has a much better skill set and Durant for his age is better than LeBron was.

The "King" as usual is ridiculously full of himself.

That you've accused LeBron of being arrogant throughout this entire thread and defended Kobe. Kobe was ten times more of a clueless asshat in his 20's than LeBron has been thus far.

As far as skill-set goes, I think no one would disagree that Kobe is a better pure shooter than LeBron, even though LeBron has improved his jumper immensely. As far as pure scoring goes, I'd say LeBron is already a better scorer than Kobe ever was. And the 81 point game argument is stupid. If LeBron was especially "feeling it" one night and took nearly 50 shots he could put up a similarly huge number. David Robinson had a 71 point game and no one considers him an all-time great scorer.

I don't even know what being a "powerful dunker" has to do with anything but if LeBron wanted to he could snap people in half throwing it down. He's the same size as Karl Malone and runs and jumps like a gazelle.

LeBron is definitely a better distributer than Kobe. As was said above, I understand the offenses are different but Lebron has elite point guard passing abilities.

Kobe is awesome in his own right, and as Mook said probably top 10 all-time. You seem to be a Kobe fan boy and have, as such, taken LeBron's comments as a personal insult for some reason. I think any non-biased observer would agree that what LeBron said is obviously true and not really offensive in any way. If anything he's a great teammate and was just answering a question asked of him. Though, to be honest, I didn't see what the actual question was, just what he said in the article.
