It's not a question of doing whatever you want...

it's not brag if you can back it up. And he can. He can do whatever he wants on the court. I have been watching the NBA since the '60's. In that time, I have seen two players who could do whatever they wanted on the court. Wilt and LeBron. That's it.
...it's a question of being better than everyone else. Yeah, Wilt could do whatever he wanted, but he played in a different era. I'd venture to say that a couple others could do whatever they wanted as well MJ and Kareem to name a few.
But when you score 81 points in a game, how can you say that this guy also can't do whatever he wants? If you really wanna get nit-picky, then you'll not that NBA rules used to be a lot friendlier to defense. LeBron couldn't do what he does now in the 90s or the 80s or pretty much any time before defensive 3 second violations came around and the no-charge semicircle. Since you've been watching basketball since the 60s, you should be aware of this.
It's just ridiculous to say that LeBron James is unequivocally better than anyone else at pure scoring in the NBA. People forget too quickly about other great players like Kobe, heck even Wade could give LeBron at least a run for his money. Even if you think LeBron will win most of the time, it's still not EVERY time as he suggested. That's absolute bull and pure arrogance. Especially coming from a guy who's only won the scoring title once. It reminds me of another stupid comment by Penny Hardaway when he said he'd average 40 ppg after Shaq left. It's just flat out stupid.
Not to mention, Lebron has no low post moves and an inconsistent shot which PALES in comparison to Kobe's.
Oh, and if LeBron can do anything he wants on the court, why couldn't he win a single game against the Spurs? Or make it to the finals last year? Oh and you must have forgotten his 25 pt under-performance in game six of the eastern conference finals. A loss that sent the Cavs packing.
LeBron's good. But people have been jumping on his bandwagon too quickly for too long. I guess now that list of overeager people includes James himself.
You must unlearn what you have learned.
