Here's my sauce recipe (I can't give you the measurements though, because I'd have to kill you).

I prefer a sweeter style homemade sauce. Everyone loves this one that I created:
1) Sauté shallots, garlic, and cubanelle peppers in olive oil.
2) once the shallots are translucent, add in crimini mushrooms
3) once the mushrooms have cooked down, add salt, pepper, ground
rosemary
4) stir in the vegetarian stock, tomato sauce, and tomato paste
5) let simmer for a bit and then add in cinnamon and a bit of sugar
(to counteract the acidity of the tomatoes)
6) finally, about 15 minutes before you pull it off the stove, add a
handful of chiffonaded fresh basil
It's tasty, I promise!
