and i'm pretty sure that he got away with no charges being filed or the case was tossed out, i can't remember and i'm not going to look it up. either way, the idea being that ben is getting a media pass because the last time this happened ben was able to clear himself fairly easily. the media is not going to use the same tactic a second time in the hopes they can get something to stick, that would make all the media look like vultures even more than they already do.
