As I mentioned to Celia early, I didn't know what a preposition was till I was twenty or so, un-standardized ed does tend to leave occasional gaps. In this case though, I just happen to be one of those people who tends to raise one finger and say 'Ah, however' or 'Indeed, but' or 'Granted, nevertheless' when starting rebuttals, so it's more likely a result of being a pedantic bastard then homeschooling
