To actually take punitive action on things like this, the burden of proof should have to be showing the children were receiving an inferior education, which realistically would have to be the standard set by the lowest performing students in public ed without major learning disabilities. Considering Homeschoolers tend to score better than public ed, I sincerely doubt this would be the case. IT would be one thing if the gov't subsidized homeschooling, then those accepting such subsidies could be held to some standards, but otherwise the only excuse for this rampantly statist even fascist behavior would have to be proving the parents were abusing their children, which is a pretty hard case to make without them apparently having even tested the kids.
The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.
