I was delighted by the responses to my thread/rant below concerning tipping when it comes to pizza delivery or in a restaurant setting and it has made me wonder.

What is the best/most interesting tip that you have ever gotten or given. Verbal tips are funny but not really what I am looking for, If you had a good one, post it below. As for myself, I have had a few in my day.

1. Took an order to a house full of drunks where I was paid with a huge bag full of quarters (easily more money than required for the order) and the tip along with it was another handfull of change, several guitar picks, energy drink mix, a couple of condoms (unopened), a glow stick, a fishing float, and a pack of gum

2. Had several instances where nudity whether on purpose or accidental was involved... One was a girl who answered the door wearing nothing but a cowboy hat, another was a girl in a bathrobe and a gust of wind blew in the door and opened the robe. She hid behind the door while getting the money for the delivery.

3. I have a guy that orders regularly that always tips with a beer or two... Fun guy but I have to drop the beer off at my house on the way back to the store.

4. I had one guy who paid with a bag of gold coins. It was International Talk Like a Pirate Day. Black velvet bag with gold coins inside... interesting.

I would love to hear your stories as it seems that many of us on this site have done time in the service industry or the like. I am sure there are lots of tales.
