I called over twenty numbers on it today. Exactly one of them was willing to schedule an appointment, and it was still over a month from now. :( The others were either not accepting new patients or (in most cases) were wrong numbers.
It was frustrating and made me tired. I went back to bed and had a dream about successfully getting an appointment. :P

And then all you can do is ASK QUESTIONS. If I had opened my mouth instead of trusting that my doctor was giving me the right prescriptions/not trying to kill my budget, I would have saved a lot of money. You have to tell them that you're obviously concerned, or you wouldn't be asking them for help, but that you really have to limit the solutions to what is affordable and generics that are covered under your insurance.

True, this is a good thing to remember. And fortunately I think it's easier for me to speak up about money (if I don't, puppy doesn't get fed) than most other things. ;) Telling them all the symptoms... ugh.
