My hometown doesn't sell beer on sundays. Why? Obviously in recognition of the Christian worship day. But why should the Christians get the right to tell us when we can buy beer or not? America is about equality right? Why not a ban on the selling of beer on Saturdays for our Jewish Buds? We should ban all other holidays, religious or otherwise, just so nobody is left out or offended. That would be the "PC" thing to do, right?
But wait. There is a separation of church and state right? So maybe we should buy beer on all days... Including Sunday.
People just stock up on alcohol on the Jewish Worship day so they can Drink to football on the Christian Worship day anyways. Your moral code is being bypassed anyways so just give up and sell on Sunday. You get more on Sin Tax and it helps the community.
Drunk Driving is different.. They should all be locked up.

I've lived in a couple places that only sell warm beer on Sundays, but not cold.
