Medicare/Medicaid get HUGE discounts for pharmaceuticals and reimburses physicians and hospitals much, much less than private insurers. However, both programs are leading the way to our nation's bankruptcy.

It bewilders me that anyone in the US wants the government to get more involved with HC. What has the government recently done to make you think that it can actually improve the situation?
