Starts off with just saying I love you to keep them happy then you get the "if you loved me you would ______" it starts to take more and more to fill that blank in.
You could always turn the tables and say that if she loved you she would give you time.

My response is always "If you loved me, you would never use that phrase." It works surprisingly often for me.
